AAPD’s first-ever State of Little Teeth Report examines the epidemic of tooth decay among our youngest children. Among the issues it examines are: who is most likely to suffer from tooth decay, what are the immediate and long-term health, social and economic effects, why this epidemic is occurring, and solutions for halting the increase of tooth decay in little teeth. The report also looks at the implications of the federal Affordable Care Act for pediatric oral health.
